WCL has worked closely with LMS since 2020 and with Modulift since 2021, steadily integrating their products into its growing equipment pool. This new agreement marks a step up in those partnerships and positions WCL as an official distributor in Norway.
The milestone also aligns with pewag’s global Stronger Together strategy of providing a complete below-the-hook solution by unifying its specialist lifting brands. pewag, LMS and Modulift now sit together under one group to deliver safe, reliable and European-made lifting products.
"This is an exciting step for WCL and for our customers, says Tommy Nilsen, Sales & Marketing Director at Westcon Løfteteknikk.
“We’ve worked closely with LMS and Modulift products for years, and becoming official distributors strengthens our ability to support clients with the right equipment, faster.”
With the new distributor agreement, customers now gain even closer access to high quality, innovative lifting equipment and can rely on WCL for rental and purchase, as well as product support.
These expanded roles reinforce WCL’s position as a trusted technical partner across the Norwegian offshore, maritime, and industrial sectors. The company continues to deliver certified lifting solutions with safe handling, expert guidance, and fast delivery.
WCL now hold stock of LMS 6.5t – 55t load cells and Modulift MOD 6, MOD 12, MOD 24, MOD 34 and MOD 50 spreader beams. Additional sizes can be ordered upon request.
To complement its expanded product offering, WCL is investing in a high-precision calibration machine from LMS, capable of calibrating tension load cells from 3.25 to 55 tonnes with an accuracy of ±0.05%. Once operational, this will enable WCL to offer full in-house calibration services, reducing turnaround times, avoiding the need for external shipping and ensuring full quality control.
“This marks a significant step in our Stronger Together strategy, offering customers a complete below-the-hook lifting solution under one roof. By bringing calibration in-house, WCL customers will also benefit from reduced downtime and a faster service.” says Thomas Dietvorst, Segment Manager Lifting Solutions at pewag.
Becoming an official distributor of LMS and Modulift is a natural step in WCL’s development. It enhances WCL’s ability to deliver reliable and compliant lifting solutions to clients across Norway.
“This fits naturally into how we work,” says Nilsen.
“We’re here to support the customer with what they need, when they need it. Whether that’s equipment, inspection, rental, or advice, this new chapter strengthens that promise.”
